Los Angeles, revisited
UCLA, pizza in Westwood
Willemijn will give her talk at UCLA in the afternoon, so she finalizes her slides in the morning. Meanwhile, I'm walking around the block, enjoying the beautiful clear weather and shooting some holiday snaps.
In the afternoon, we head to UCLA. It's great to see the linguists again, although some of the gang of 2001 aren't around anymore. But we do meet Ed Stabler, who was on Willemijn's defence commitee in the Netherlands just nine days ago, and of course there's Greg! It looks like he never even left his office...
At night, we enjoy beer and pizza at BJ's in Westwood. It's great to be back here.
