Enjoying the beach and the ocean on the west coast of the main island
Willemijn wanted to weave a traditional basket. These palm tree baskets are used everywhere to transport fruit, taro, etcetera
Because the resort we went to didn't have any rooms available (contrary to what they told us on the phone, but that's Island style for you), we slept on the beach for two nights. Awesome!
Willemijn's handicraft is also very useful as a laundry basket
