Our accomodation was very basic: no running water (we brought containers of rainwater), camping in small tents, washing in the sea. But the food was really, really great, and there was so much of it! Strawberry pancakes for breakfast, pasta salad for lunch, mountains of fruit, etcetera

The tradewinds and ocean currents bring incredible amounts of plastic garbage to the beaches. After half an hour, Willemijn collected a big crate full of rubbish. Our guide Kerry would ask a boatie who was in the area to pick it up and dispose of it
